You still haven’t seen Your Name on the LASU 2016/2017 Admission List

Surely it’s painful and all that, going through the process of writing JAMB and the screening process and yet you still do not see your name on the list. The stress you’ve gone through looking for the ICT Centre in LASU, even relying on someone to help you out.

I understand what it means not seeing your name on the list, it could be depressing and discouraging. You probably might have even quit your Job in preparation for school.

You’ve seen the First list hoping your name would be on it, but NO didn’t see your name. Now LASU just released another list, the Batch B list and still didn’t see your name.

That’s really disheartening, even when you’re sure that you would see your name on the list. Wait a minute! Let me inform you that there is still hope, because there is still hope for the hopeful. Now let me break this down to you aspirants that have not still seen their name on the admission list.

This year LASU would release about Four (4) lists:
•    The 100level merit list - Batch A
•    The 100 level supplementary – First round batch B
•    The 100 level supplementary – Second round batch B
•    The Direct Entry list

YOU MAY ALSO LIKE: WHAT SHOULD I DO TO ENGAGE MYSELF AFTER HIGH SCHOOL WHILE I WAIT FOR MY UNIVERSITY ADMISSION?
LASU has released the Batch A and First round Batch B list for 100 level Jambites. Aspirants that have not seen their names yet shouldn’t lose hope like I said earlier. You just have to wait in anticipation.

The Direct entry list would also be dispatched to the school’s site. Direct entry candidates applied via Jamb Direct entry, they applied for straightforward admission into 200 and 300levels correspondingly. This fact proves that the Candidates are admitted into LASU via Post Jamb Screening and Direct entry processes.

Candidates that applied for Medicine and did not meet up with the school’s cut-off mark would have their course changed to various courses like Botany, Zoology, Physics, Agricultural Science, Chemistry, Fisheries, Biology and maybe Biochemistry.

SEE: Photos from the Hult Prize [Semi-Competition] @ LASU

This was the case Last year as students who did not meet up with the school’s cut-off mark had their courses changed to other Courses. If you’re given any course you didn’t apply for, you should just accept it. It is better you do because admission into the university is no gag, but if you still have the desire for that course you admire so much, you’d have to hold on to this one you’re given now, write another JAMB and hopefully you get that course.

What do I do when I have a Carryover? In LASU

Yep, what do you when have an issue in a course? What do you do when you carry over a course? What do you do when you see a Zero in your result profile?

We all know that as LASU students we have to work hard and smart. But, working hard and smart doesn’t guarantee you good grades, sometimes you could fall prey to some sadist Lecturer who doesn’t even consider students. So I’ll advice strongly that you involve GOD in whatever you do, most especially your academics at present.

Now, what do you do when you suddenly see a Zero or two on your Result Profile? After all the sleepless nights and sacrifices you made in the course of writing your exams.

Well simple! Since you are confident of what you did in the Exams, do the following:

i.Go to any café in School

ii. Tell them to help you type a letter of rectification and   your profile print out

 iii. Staple these documents together

iv. Submit it to your H.O.D (Head of Department)

Hopefully your Script would be revisited to check for any errors and corrected. If you’re not sure or confident of what you did in the Exams you can also do as stated above, and only hope for the best.

Kindly leave a comment below if this was helpful.
