And of the GREATEST LASUITES!
ARTICULATE LASUITES!!
Based on the present happenings on campus and the lack of proper communication and understanding between the School Management and the Students' populace, the Vice Chancellor has deemed it fit, to invite all LASUITES to a town hall meeting at the UNIVERSITY MAIN AUDITORIUM on June 1st, 2016.
The meeting is aimed at strengthening the weak bond between the VC and the Students.
More so, the meeting will also allow all LASUITES to pour out their minds directly to the Vice Chancellor, Prof. Olanrewaju Fagbohun.
Meanwhile, a STUDENT STAKEHOLDERS MEETING will be held a day to the TOWN HALL MEETING in order to properly identify and articulate our grievances before the Vice Chancellor.
As earlier mentioned, the meeting is scheduled for June 1st 2016 as every other pertinent detail will be communicated when due.
UPDATE ON SHUTTLE BUSES OPERATIONS
GREATEST LASUITES! Since the news broke out yesterday about the ban on LASUSU SHUTTLE OPERATIONS OUTSIDE THE SCHOOL PREMISES, the Students' Union has swung into action and has left no stone untouched.
In reaction to the news, there was a peaceful march to the Students' Affairs building in protest against the ban. Subsequently, a meeting was held between the Dean of Students' Affairs and Students' Union leaders.
After the meeting, it was affirmed that the SHUTTLE SYSTEM was not scrapped as they are still even operating.
After the meeting with the Dean of Students affairs, a student stakeholders meeting was immediately held which was attended by the President,Speaker,Welfare Director, and other SUG Leaders.
After a long period of deliberation, it was agreed that there was a need for a reformation in the sector.
In this light, with the consent of the President and the Speaker, a 6-man committee was set up to urgently look into the operations of the SHUTTLE BUSES with a view to eradicating corruption from the sector and ensuring all LASUITES benefit maximally from it.
Based on the foregoing, a PRESS RELEASE would be out soon, and a PRESS CONFERENCE will be held in due course, to address the issue of the SHUTTLE BUSES ,and other issues affecting our existence on campus.
Flowing from the above, we urge all LASUITES to remain calm, as all hands are on deck to ensure LASUSU works for everyone of us.
ALUTA CONTINUA, VICTORIA ASCERTA!!!
